MHK pushes for Bemahague School

A North Douglas MHK has once again called for an end to the stalemate over proposals for a new secondary school at Bemahague.

During Keys questions, John Houghton's request for Treasury to meet a delegation of Members and Education Minister Anne Craine was agreed to by Allan Bell.

Mr Houghton is pleased about this but says he has little hope the project will get a mention during Mr Bell's budget speech next week:
