Douglas man jailed for breaking drive ban

by isleofman.com 13th February 2008
A Douglas man has been jailed for driving offences.

James Arbuthnot of Willaston Cresent admitted driving whilst disqualified and not having insurance.

He had been banned for 5 years in 2006 but, according to his advocate, made the unwise discision to drive his car to Foxdale to 'get rid of it'.

The High Bailiff said he could have got someone else to drive the car and it had been made very clear what would happen if he did drive.
