Kinnin inquest

by isleofman.com 11th February 2008
A Ramsey man who suffered from severe depression was found hanging at his home last month, an inquest has been told today (Monday).

The body of 45 year-old Michael Kinnin was discovered on January the 28th.

The court heard how Mr Kinnin, who had worked for Ramsey Commissioners for many years and was also a retained fireman, had a history of depression and an accident just over a year before his death had caused him serious physical injuries which he struggled to overcome.

Coroner Michael Moyle extended his sympathy to Mr Kinnin’s wife and daughter and said the family had done all they could to support him.
