Braddan committee resumes

by isleofman.com 8th February 2008
The Tynwald select committee investigating the affairs of Braddan Commissioners will resume hearing evidence this morning (Friday).

Landowner Henry Kennaugh, commissioner Andrew Jessopp (pictured) and former East Baldwin resident, Jack McKinney, will give evidence at the hearing, which starts at a 10:45am in the Millennium Room in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.

Tynwald appointed a committee to investigate a potential conflict of interest and sale of land by former clerk Charles Lewin – as well as the extent to which his and the board’s involvement in the Braddan area plan led to it later being abandoned.
