Clinic to target smokers as ban looms

The smoking ban is well and truly on its way, and one Isle of Man company is looking forward to it.

The Allan Carr Easyway Clinic will be targeting the Island's smokers next month, from two weeks before the ban comes in.

On March 15 and 16, the clinic will hold a series of intensive sessions and hopes to see as many people as possible at the Empress Hotel in Douglas.

Organiser of the Manx clinic Mark Kneen says there has already been a good response from companies worried about employees smoking (audio file attached):
