No evidence from Karran on 'food cartel'

Onchan MHK Peter Karran couldn't provide the House of Keys with evidence to support his recent claim that food prices in the Isle of Man were influenced by a cartel.

Instead, in response to Office of Fair Trading Chairman Quintin Gill's question, he called for the OFT itself to conduct an investigation.

Mr Gill had asked for the proof and also wanted to know why Mr Karran hadn't approached his office about the matter.
