Lisbon Treaty 'no effect here' - Brown

The Chief Minister says the recently signed Lisbon Treaty on the European Union will have no effect on the Isle of Man.

Tony Brown was speaking in the Keys this morning in response to a question from Onchan MHK Peter Karran.

Mr Brown said whilst there were ongoing discussions in the UK we must remember the Island's position in relation to the Union:
