CCTV questions in the House of Keys

North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson wants to see more CCTV cameras covering the streets of the Island’s capital.

In the House of Keys this morning, he will put two questions on the subject to Home Affairs minister Martyn Quayle.

He will ask whether the department thinks CCTV is important to public safety and crime detection, and about the department’s policy on expanding the system in Douglas.

Mr Henderson is convinced more cameras will mean safer streets:
