Convention aimed at students and adults

by isleofman.com 4th February 2008
A politician involved in this week's Isle of Man Careers Convention says it should provide an excellent opportunity for students and adults to see what job opportunities exist in the Isle of Man.

The 'biggest ever' event of its kind in the Island, as it's being billed, will be held at the Villa Marina on Thursday.

For the first time, the Department of Trade and Industry is collaborating with the Department of Education in the organisation of the event, and political member for the DTI Juan Turner, MLC (pictured), says a great cross-section of the market place will be represented (audio file attached):

Juan Turner was speaking to Dan Davies on Talking Heads.
