Brown aims for gas price parity

The Chief Minister says plans to extend natural gas supplies throughout the Island will provide customers with a more stable, cost effective form of the fuel.

The cost of LPG gas rose by just over 13% on Friday, with the oil-based product constantly at the mercy of rocketing crude prices.

Tony Brown says it's an issue he has been concerned about for some time, and having some parts of the Island paying more for their gas is not an acceptable long-term situation.
