Archibald Knox 75th anniversary

by isleofman.com 3rd February 2008
The 75th anniversary of Archibald Knox's death will be commemorated later this month with a weekend of events.

The Manx artist was born and educated here and, after teaching and designing in the UK, he returned to the Isle of Man.

He taught art at Ramsey Grammar School (pictured) up to his death in 1933.

Entertainment will begin on Friday, February 22, with a choir performance, concluding on Saturday night with the first Archibald Knox Society annual dinner.
