A 25 year old man charged with assault causing actual bodily harm has been committed to a court of general jail by the High Bailiff.
Kevin Harrison of Hutchinson Square, Douglas, is also charged with unlawful detention.
The offences are alleged to have been committed on November 17th in Hutchinson Square.
The defendant has been bailed by Mr Moyle.
Reporting restrictions were not lifted.
