Fish kill in the Neb

by isleofman.com 28th January 2008
Pollution in a tributary of the River Neb near Peel has caused the death of a number of fish. Its thought at least sixty have died, possibly twice that number
The dead fish were spotted on Saturday by a member of the public.

The exact number has been difficult to quantify as there are parts of the river in the area that are difficult to access.

The Manx Rivers Improvement Association were also contacted.
The Department of the Environment is currently investigating the cause of the pollution.
The Fisheries Department say they are up to speed with developments but are waiting the results of investigations.
