It’s Homeless Sunday.
Churches and voluntary groups throughout the Island are encouraging members of the public to reflect upon the issue.
Manx homeless charity Kemmyrk was recently formed to identify those who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, and establish partnerships with public, private and charitable bodies to relieve such hardship and distress.
The majority of the Island's homeless are not actually sleeping rough on the streets.
Reverend Cyril Rogers will host a Homeless Sunday service at Ballaugh Old Church at six o’clock this evening.
A number of other churches will hold collections.
