Minister praises farming films

The Agriculture Minister is praising a new set of films which aim to teach the Island's children about agriculture and food production here.

The four pieces are backed up by lesson plans and discussion topics and are a collaboration between the Manx Heritage Foundation and the Food and Farming in Schools campaign.

Pupils at Manor Park primary in Pulrose were the first to see the films at a special screening held at the school.

Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne, who also attended, says they are vital for educating children about the importance of keeping it Manx:
