Consultation on wind power

The Manx public will be asked to consider wind power as part of an overall consultation exercise into energy.

The newly appointed political member for energy Juan Turner, MLC, has stated he believes an offshore wind farm could be a solution to our long-term needs.

Director of Economics and Markets with the British Wind Energy Association Gordon Edge says they make good financial sense (audio file attached):
