Slow recovery continues

by isleofman.com 24th January 2008
A Port Erin man seriously injured in an explosion which destroyed his family’s home has been discharged from Noble’s Hospital.

Fifty-five year-old Jim Horan, a retired teacher, was rescued by his son Ben after the explosion at their Maine Road home a fortnight ago.

Twenty-seven year-old Ben also rescued his younger brother Jamie and friend, Laszlo Mohlnar.

Ben says his father is receiving treatment and recovering slowly from his injuries.
