Prison still within budget

by isleofman.com 23rd January 2008
The new prison may not be ready on time, but it’s still on budget.

Home Affairs Minister Martyn Quayle made the announcement in a House of Keys question for written answer.

Rushen MHK Juan Watterson asked him whether the project, currently being finished in Jurby, is still within budget.

In response, Mr Quayle said despite the delay to its opening, the prison was still within the budget approved by Tynwald.
