Disorderly behaviour charge

by isleofman.com 22nd January 2008
A 32 year-old Douglas man has admitted a charge of being disorderly on licensed premises.

Ian Ronald Goldsmith, of Christian Road appeared before the High Bailiff Michael Moyle.

The offence was committed at the Rovers Return on Boxing Day.

Goldsmith's advocate asked for psychiatric reports, as there was a suggestion the defendant may be suffering from post traumatic stress after being stabbed.

Mr Moyle said Goldsmith had a poor record and had breached his bail, so remanded him in custody until February 19.
