Defendant warned over order breach

by isleofman.com 22nd January 2008
A 19 year-old Santon man has been bailed by the High Bailiff after admitting theft and being in breach of a community service order.

Dean Paul Ellison, of Mount Murray stole a bottle of wine from the Wessex petrol station on November 20.

He was arrested two days later and said he remembered being in the shop but couldn't recall taking the wine.

Michael Moyle warned Ellison while the theft was not as severe as some, the court would take the breach of the community service order very seriously.

He ordered a social inquiry report and adjourned the matter until February 12.
