A long-lost film starring Sir Norman Wisdom is to go on show after more than 40 years.

There Was A Crooked Man was filmed in Lancashire in the early 1960s, but was shown on television only once.

Sir Norman stars alongside Susannah York and Andrew Cruickshank in the movie which was recently rediscovered in a private collection in the United Kingdom.

Earlier this month, the star was the subject of a BBC documentary showing his health declining in an Isle of Man care home.

The movie will be shown in Darwen in Lancashire, where it was originally shot.
