Five survive floods

by isleofman.com 19th January 2008
Only five Football matches will go ahead this afternoon, despite the calm and dry weather.

A week of heavy rain has led to water logging at a number of pitches.

These are the matches which are on:-

Woods Cup - First Round:-
Colby v Michael
and Ronaldsway v Foxdale

Combination One:-
Ramsey v St. George's

Combination Two:-
Castletown v Onchan
and Marown v Pulrose.

In Rugby, the Manx Shield game between Southern Nomads and Douglas "B" at King William's College has been called off.
