Police assaults case to General Gaol

A 39 year-old man accused of assaulting two police officers has been committed for trial to a Court of General Gaol.

William David Sayle, of Slieu Curn Park, Kirk Michael faces one charge each of causing actual bodily and wounding with intent.

He is also accused of unlawfully detaining a person.

The offences were allegedly committed in Kirk Michael on October 4 last year.

Reporting restrictions were not lifted and the defendant was granted bail with conditions.
