Colley victim of identity theft scam

by isleofman.com 16th January 2008
Manx Trials rider Steve Colley has become a victim of a computer hacker.

Someone has stolen his identity and e-mailed all the contacts in his address book appealing for money to help him get back to the Isle of Man from Africa.

It says he has visited Ghana, South Africa and Nigeria for a number of charitable organisations.

He has then apparently lost his money, credit cards and passport by leaving them in the back of cab in Nigeria.

The real Steve Colley says anyone who receives an e-mail along these lines should ignore it:-
