Two 14 year-old girls were taken to Noble's Hospital following a road accident in Port St Mary this morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the collision in Park Road which involved the girls, both pedestrians, and a car driven by a Port St Mary man.
The girls suffered serious but not life threatening injuries.
The accident happened at around 8.40am and the road was closed for two hours while police carried out inquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to ring the Road Policing Unit on 631444.
