Heritage trophy recipient 'delighted'

The winner of the Manx Heritage Foundation’s highest honour says he is delighted to be this year’s recipient.

Dr Brian Stowell was presented with the Reih Bleeaney Vanannan on Friday.

The award - a trophy, cash prize and charity donation – was given to him in recognition of his work with the Manx language.

Dr Stowell (pictured) says the previous winners read like a list of Manx worthies, and he is pleased to be in their company:
