Corinthians cemented their place at the top of the Sure Mobile Women's Astro Cup Group A on Sunday with a 9-0 thrashing of Laxey.

Leonie Roberts led the way with a hat-trick, Anna Quayle added a brace, and Sarah O'Reilly, Helen Thomas, Voirrey Holmes and Stephanie Hall were also on target.

Douglas Royal climbed above Castletown with a 6-0 win against bottom club Ramsey. Siobhan Lockwood claimed a hat-trick, and there were goals for Rebecca Cole (2) and Donna Shimmin.

In Group B three goals in the second half helped Peel to a 4-1 victory over western rivals Michael, with Vanessa Roberts, Claudio Konig, Erin Collister and Emma Faulkner on the score-sheet for Peel. Fiona Sellors scored in the first half for Michael.

Donna Harrison claimed an impressive six goals in Rushen's 8-2 win over southern neighbours Colby. Gill Christian and Kirsty Qualtrough added another two for the Croit Lowey side, while Nicola Coole and Charlotte Beard got one each for Colby.

In the only Cu-Plas 15/17 Division One game to survive the weather Corinthians beat Ayre 5-1 to rise to the top of the league. Daniel Gerrard (2), Max Stokoe, Paul Riley and Christian Fisher scored for the whites, while Finton Cummins scored for the northerners.

In Division Two Old Boys and St Johns B drew 2-2. Adam Hudgeon and Lewis Crowe got one each for Old Boys and Ben Doyle got two for St Johns.
