Drugs arrest in Ramsey

A man was arrested in a pub in Ramsey late last night in relation to offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

When searched by officers shortly before midnight he was found to be in possession of a quantity of Class A and Class C drugs. As a result of the arrest two houses were searched, one in Ramsey and one in Lonan, and a further quantity of Class C drugs were recovered.

Ramsey police say they have been reacting to information received from the public in relation to the misuse of drugs.
