Discoloured water warning

by isleofman.com 11th January 2008
Water pressure testing, between now and the end of next month, may leave households with discoloured water.

The work by the Water Authority will affect residents in Onchan and Douglas, and the middle and south of the Island.

The authority will be testing a range of flows through the main system, as it connects the new Douglas Water Treatment Works into supply.

Customers who experience discolouration are advised to run their cold taps until the water runs clear.
