Cringle to deliver eulogy at funeral

The funeral of celebrated author George McDonald Fraser takes place today.

Mr Fraser, who died last week aged 82, will be remembered at a service in St Andrew's Church in Douglas.

He will be best remembered as the creator of the twelve Flashman novels, published between 1969 and 2005.

Manx Radio’s Terry Cringle (pictured), who will deliver the eulogy at today’s service, says he was honoured to know such a talented writer:
