Police learn advanced techniques

It's hoped a training course being held this week will help police officers in the Isle of Man develop better interviewing techniques.

The Advanced Witness Interviewing Course is being presented by Dr Becky Milne at the Keyll Daree lecture theatre at Noble's Hospital.

The Enhanced Cognitive Interviewing model helps officers extract information from cooperative witnesses.

Detective Inspector Keith Kinrade (pictured) says they are learning about advanced techniques:
