ACHE emergency motion planned

by isleofman.com 11th January 2008
It's been confirmed steps are being taken to have the row between the DHSS and the pressure group ACHE debated in Tynwald next week.

Spokesman for the pressure group John Sheppard (pictured) says East Douglas MHK Brenda Cannell has agreed to table an emergency motion.

It will ask the Court to support the view that the DHSS should extend the Protours disabled bus service for a period of six months, beyond the approaching expiry date.

Mr Sheppard says that would enable a full investigation into surrounding issues to be carried out and has written to all the members of Tynwald asking for their support.
