Changes again at Groves Road

The revised and much-maligned junction on the New Castletown Road at Groves Road is getting further changes in a bid to reduce confusion for island motorists.

Lane markings are to be extended to prevent traffic from cutting corners, and the double traffic lights heading south are to be replaced with a more usual 'left filter' arrow.

Network Planning Manager Derek Sewell (pictured) says the Department of Transport has welcomed input from users and politicians alike:
