Off-road events - DAFF happy to talk

The Isle of Man's director of forestry says he’s happy to talk to motorsport organisations about holding events on government land.

Enduro star David Knight says the government needs to open up more land to youngsters to keep them interested in the sport.

Andrew Sidebottom says his division already helps events take place inside plantations, although he has to balance the needs of other users and the environment when making decisions.

However, he has a simple message for anybody thinking of putting on a trials event:
