Avoid Kenya say travel agents

Travel agents in the Isle of Man are urging people not to holiday in Kenya.

All trips to the African country from the United Kingdom have been cancelled until at
least Saturday.

Violence there has led to at least 300 deaths in the last few days, and around 100,000 other people have been displaced.

It comes after a disputed election last week which saw the president re-elected.

The Foreign Office is advising Britons to return home, and warning against all but essential travel to the country.

Going ahead with a holiday against such a recommendation can affect insurance policies.

Jan Wozniak of Freedom Travel in Douglas says holidaymakers need to sort out their plans as soon as possible:
