Expect another warm year

by isleofman.com 3rd January 2008
The Meteorological Office at Ronaldsway is predicting 2008 will be another warm year.

In the past ten to 15 years temperatures have risen in the Isle of Man, with 2007 being the warmest year on record.

Forecaster Colin Gartshaw says many factors affect the climate, but the most significant is global warming which will cause some spectacular changes across the planet over the next 100 years.

However, it's only partly accurate to say winters used to be colder, and summers hotter than in recent times (audio file attached):

Colin Gartshore was speaking to Dan Davies on Talking Heads.
