Drink-drive rethink?

The Island may need to consider a change to it's anti drink-drive legislation.

So says the Head of Roads Policing as this year's Christmas drink drive campaign draws to a close.

Inspector Derek Flint says it's difficult to know whether this year's initiative - which has so far seen 757 drivers stopped, 79 people breathalysed and 25 arrests - should be seen as a success, or an abject failure to get the message across.

He says authorities will now have to look to the future and possibly consider an alteration to the law:
