Arch Tower fire 'suspicious'

by isleofman.com 28th December 2007
Police are appealing for information about a fire at Arch Tower on South Quay, Douglas yesterday, which is being treated as suspicious.

The Fire and Rescue Service was called out at about 11.30am to tackle the blaze, which caused localised damage to the interior.

The unoccupied property (pictured) has been undergoing extensive renovation and officers believe people have been using it to shelter from the weather.

As well as asking for witnesses and information, police are asking people who have been using the building to come forward so they can be ruled out of the investigation.

If you can help in any way, call Police Headquarters on 631212.
