Manslaughter defendants due in court

Two men charged with manslaughter following the death of a homeless man are due to appear in court again today.

Forty-three year-old Marcus Anthony McCormick, of North View, Peel and 24 year-old Mark Anthony Quirk, of Castlemona Avenue, Douglas were initially charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on Joseph McCabe.

Mr McCabe sustained a serious head injury near an address in North View on August 12 and died in a hospital in the United Kingdom eleven days later.

Forty-one year-old Sandra Rose Quirk, also of North View, was bailed to today, charged with perverting the course of justice.
