Minister optimistic for 2008

The Treasury Minister is optimistic about the Island's economy in 2008.

Allan Bell says the zero rate corporate tax and new funds regime have ensured a steady trickle of new business and believes we'll see the true benefits of these initiatives next year.

And Mr Bell (pictured) has welcomed proposals from the Douglas Development Partnership, to spruce up the town centre.

He says this also is a vital factor for attracting outside investment and personnel:
