Fog clears for flights from south

by isleofman.com 24th December 2007
It's hoped flights to the Island from the south east of England will get back to normal today (Mon).

Dozens of passengers trying to get to the Island for Christmas were stranded yesterday after fog caused the cancellation of many flights. A total of 29 flights to various destinations out of Heathrow were cancelled, and flights from Gatwick and London City were similarly affected.

However the Met Office says the fog has now cleared and whilst there will be backlogs to clear it's hoped flights will operate as usual.
