by isleofman.com 23rd December 2007
Ramsey Commissioners has received support from a neighbouring authority in its call for the Queen’s Pier to be restored.

Maughold Commissioners has written to the local authority, as well as the working party investigating the issue, stressing the Victorian structure should be restored and that the cost should not fall on Ramsey ratepayers.

After a public consultation, the working group is to meet next month to discuss the findings.

At its monthly board meeting, Ramsey Commissioners elected member Geoff Quayle to represent them at the meeting on January 21.
