Women get the message

by isleofman.com 23rd December 2007
Government statistics show the Christmas anti-drink driving campaign message is getting through, but seeming only to about half of the Island's population.

Up to this morning, 19 people had been arrested since the campaign started, all of them men.

Of these, nine were aged 17 to 25, five were in the 26 to 39 age range, and five were over 40.

The overall figure is already three more than the number arrested during the whole of last year's campaign.
