Record turnout for Santa Dash

Today's Isle of Man bank sponsored Santa Dash drew a record number of competitors.

Ninety-five Father Christmases ran around the perimeter of Douglas town centre, and the race was won by John Halligan, who set a new record time of 4 minutes, 28 seconds.

All the runners raised money for a Manx charity of their choice.

Bank spokesman Geoff Gelling says the record turnout made the event even more special (audio file attached):
