Christmas farmers' market this evening

Anyone who fancies 'eating local' this Christmas has a great chance to stock up on provisions later today.

A special festive version of the Douglas farmers' market will be held in the Villa Marina colonnade, from 7pm.

'I Love Manx' campaign co-ordinator Ffinlo Costain says Christmas is a good time to think about ways of supporting the Island's community, including those involved in agriculture.

He says the range of goods available is impressive, and perfect for the time of year:
