Opera singer needs a plane

The TV cameras are at the ready, the United Kingdom national press is on standby but a bid to bring some seasonal cheer to the Island’s elderly on Christmas Eve is hanging in the balance.

Opera singer Nicky Spence (pictured) is travelling around the North of England in his role as Patron for the charity Help the Aged.

But the plan to come to to the Isle of Man is in doubt, unless transport arrangements can be made.
