Extra books out for Christmas

The Isle of Man's mobile library is stepping up its services ahead of the Christmas and New Year holiday.

In preparation for the break, when the vehicle goes in for maintenance, the librarians will be issuing extra books.

The mobile library follows ten routes each fortnight, with 93 stopping points.

Among other places, it visits primary schools and the homes of people unable to get out.
