Time running out for Christmas post

by isleofman.com 18th December 2007
There are only a couple of days left to post cards and presents to guarantee delivery before Christmas.

The last posting dates for sending letters, large letters and packets to the United Kingdom is Thursday.

For Special Delivery and the Parcelforce 'next day' services the last date for posting is Friday, and the last chance for sending post locally is Saturday.

Meanwhile, opening hours at Douglas Sorting Office have been extended for the run up to Christmas.

Customers can collect parcels between 7am and 9pm, while parcels and letters can be posted from 9am until 8pm, and until 9pm from tomorrow until Friday.

However, the Post Office says those items must be sent before 6.45pm to ensure despatch to the UK and overseas the same evening.
