Lantern parade in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 15th December 2007
Young and old will be getting into the seasonal spirit in Ramsey this evening.

A Christmas lantern parade takes place in the town, from 7pm.

Crowds will assemble in the car park to the rear of the town hall (front entrance, pictured) before the parade, which will be led by the Ramsey Grammar School samba band.

The parade will conclude with carols round the Christmas tree, outside the town’s courthouse, performed by Ramsey Town Band.

Lantern making workshops have been held over the past two weekends.
