Anti-bullying meeting

The founding member of the United Kingdom based Anti-Bullying Alliance has spoken to key figures in education in the Isle of Man about the problems associated with cyber-bullying.

Following the success of last month's Anti-Bullying week, in November, Alison O'Brien has been on the Island to meet, among others, Director of Education John Caine.

Cyber bullying, or intimidating and threatening behaviour used over the Internet, is compared by Mrs O'Brien to stalking.

But she also believes it should be tackled head-on, and children should be encouraged to report any cases as soon as possible:
